Hello again,
It’s been a couple of weeks since we last wrote, and it’s fair to say that life as first time published authors has been pretty good!
We were proud recipients of the orange bestseller flag on Amazon, and clearly made our publisher very happy too judging from this comment in her weekly newsletter:
I think most publishers indulge in the occasional round of 'fantasy bestseller screenshot'. Crime editors probably fantasise about their new book beating Ian Rankin and Agatha Christie to the top spot, while YA (young adult) publishers would sell their souls to edge ahead of J. K. Rowling and Neil Gaiman. Last week my business-book dream came true when Diana Marsland and Julie Nerney hit the number 1 business book spot on Amazon with Own Your Day: New light on the mastery of managing in the middle, ahead of (wait for it.....) Simon Sinek's Start With Why and Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People. It really does not get much better than that.
