We hope this note finds you enjoying the summer - despite the rather eclectic British weather keeping us on our toes. Whether it was the first tournament final for the England men’s football team in 55 years, or the heroics of our amazing Olympic athletes, it’s certainly been a great sporting summer. And as we tentatively take our first steps out of the necessary covid restrictions that have had such a profound impact on us all for the past 18 months, we’re looking forward to finally being able to celebrate the achievement of getting Own Your Day into the hands of so many people.
We want to do this in a way which is driven by our motivation in writing the book: to help as many people be the best version of themselves - reaching more people than we could manage through our one to one, team or organisational interactions. To support curiosity and learning. And our event is no different. We’re hoping to inspire, challenge and give you something to reflect on, as well as having a jolly nice time.
We look forward to seeing you in this gorgeous space at the even more wonderful House of St Barnabas at Soho Square (minus the piano, unless any of you are keen to play?) on 8 September. If you haven’t already signed up to join us , then you can do so here.
In the spirit of sharing the content from Own Your Day as widely as possible, we’ve been delighted to be asked to contribute to various publications and platforms over the past few weeks. If you’d like to find out more, then follow these links:
Biz Catalyst 360: on how authenticity enhances your own performance and that of others
Business Impact: on how feedback is the foundation of high performing teams
Like Minds Business Breakfast TV: an interview with Julie on the process of writing Own Your Day, some of the key content and her own story
And of course, if you have bought / read / enjoyed the book, then do leave a review - we appreciate it takes a few moments of your time, but it would be much appreciated. Or you can provide feedback direct to us here:
We’ll be back in touch nearer our event date to share more of the plans and new content which we hope continues to be useful to you.
Best wishes
Julie & Diana
